Manager, Custody Operations - Settlement

Functional area: T&O Wholesale/Global Markets
Employment type: Full-time
Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:
  • Support the post-trade settlement process and service client account
  • Process trade instructions and ensure instructions are released to market
  • Relay trade status back to clients
  • Troubleshoot trade queries and issues
  • Handle funding projections, account opening/closing, journal entries posting and investigation of recon breaks
  • Ensure all trades and documents are filed accordingly for audit purposes
  • Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects
Requirements:
  • At least 3-4 years in a banking operations environment, preferably in securities settlement
  • Working knowledge of Singapore securities market and regulatory framework;¬†nderstanding of foreign securities settlement in the domestic and Euroclear market
  • Has product knowledge of equities and fixed income
  • Well versed with MS Word/Excel. Knowledge of swift will be an advantage
  • Possess desirable attributes including being a team player, willingness to learn¬†
  • Adaptable and resilient, strong problem solving skills, and intellectually inquisitive
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and client-servicing skills
