The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport, which spearheads land transport developments in Singapore. Deputy/Assistant Manager, Vocational Licence Services
You will be part of a dynamic team managing operations and policies related to vocational licence holders in Singapore. You will play a key role in shaping the commercial structure and regulatory framework of the Point-to-Point sector, ensuring that the sector remains competitive, commuters’ and drivers’ interests are protected, and that Point-to-Point services are always conducted with safety as a priority. You will lead a group of junior officers to manage customer related feedback and calls and you will be required to think out of the box to propose and review measures to reduce feedback. Beyond all these, you will lead, plan and implement change management processes in the Operations team as the services undergo digitalisation. In your role, you will work across various teams, such as the Operations Planning team and you will be expected to support LTA and Ministry of Transport (MOT) senior management in reviewing and developing policies for the Point-to-Point sector. In addition, you will manage training related operations which include tracking compliance with contractual agreements and audits. You will be involved in preparing policy paper relating to vocational licence operations and processes.
- Tertiary Qualification in any discipline
- Ability to work in and lead teams
- Experience in writing submissions to management and basic proficiency in excel
- Experience in public sector or managing digital services will be an advantage
- Ability to communicate well and interact with people and organisations.
