Ensures that the bank develops the best in class Retail Banking Sales Advisors through effective professional competency development interventions driven by the regional strategic learning agenda for the business.
This is achieve by:
  • Effective learning needs analysis through stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing a learning strategy and secure stakeholder sponsorship to implement the strategy.
  • Design and develop the appropriate learning solutions to support the strategy by working with Internal Business stakeholders and Learning partners (internal as well as external).
  • Execution of all agreed Learning initiatives and be accountable for measuring the learning impact on performance
  • Communicating to key stakeholders on measures of success.
Job Description:

Learning & Development Strategy
  • Responsible for consulting with stakeholders to translate the bank’s business objectives into a Learning Development Strategy, including entire competency requirements (functional learning, leadership & professional development). 
  • Responsible for conducting needs analysis and creating a learning & development execution plan for the business or function and the teams within PFS.
  • Responsible for defining measures of success of capability development investment and ensuring reporting is set up to track these.
  • Partners with the business and HRBP to shape the Strategic People Agenda
Learning Solutions
  • Accountable for managing the end to end delivery of PFS Sales curriculum, ensuring that standards and governance are met. (Includes managing the learning roadmap, programme’s design, development and execution, regulatory requirements, communications plan, train-the-trainers and reporting.)
  • Accountable for the institutionalize of the PFS Sales programs across all sales segments.
  • Engage with internal business or HR delivery partners or external vendors to identify suitable learning solution.
  • Project manage internal and external resources to ensure solutions are delivered within the planned timeframe and budget, and in accordance with the learning objectives.
  • Manage the operational risks of the execution plans and mitigate impact on timelines where possible.
  • Update business learning solutions with the latest regulatory requirements, technical updates and design methodology.
  • Most preferred is to be able to train investment related topics such as UT, Bonds, FX, SN
Job Requirements:
  • A professional with a strong and in-depth technical understanding of the Retail banking operating model, products, propostion and different client segments across the regional.
  • Ablilty to size up the business priorities, goals and people capability challenges by engaging the business and is able to analyse and diagnose the approach required to support the learning interventions.
  • Ability to use strong business skills and understanding to provide the required business context and deeper insight to the learning partners and external vendors when they work towards developing learning offerings to the support the business need.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, projects and stakeholder groups; project management, strong consulting and negotiation skills.
  • Has a good understanding and experience of end-to-end Learning & Development process (including adult learning concepts).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience in key Relationship Management.
